Compact, upstanding lad with very nice paces and a bold scopey jump. He loves competing both dressage & jumping, also been XC schooling proving very bold and powerful.
Jumping - He is currently jumping British Novice on a ticket and has a couple of double clears. He has jumped and trained at home and different venues upto 1.10 confidently and boldly. He likes a rider with a secure leg and contact and comes on a lovely balanced, calm rhythm to his fences. He has lots of scope to jump much bigger tracks and is a real jumping prospect.
Dressage - He has lovely rhymical paces and is extremely well balanced, he is powerful and at the same time he is ridden in a rubber bit. He works correctly and is obedient in his transitions and also is happy with leg yeilding and shoulder-in. He is probably working at home in a good Novice/Elementary way.
XC - He has been out XC schooling about three times and he loves it, he is good with steps up and down, ditches, skinnies. He is still a little aprehensive about the water so would need to do more of this to get more confident.
He is a pleasure to have around and work with, he doesnt need to be ridden every day and can be left a couple of weeks and then get straight on. He travels in either a lorry herringbone, or a trailer. He is perfectly behaved at shows and different venues and is as good as gold in the warm up with all the other horses.
Hacking - He hacks all around our farm on his own quite happily and boldly, occassionally he will crap himself at a strange flower or leaf - doesnt do anything, doesnt spin or bolt. He hacks out with other horses and is happy to march off in front, next to or behind.
Is very good with farm machinery around him and in his field, happy with cars passing out hacking - not seen loads and loads of traffic out hacking as we have a lot of off road. But is obedient.
Experienced, competitive home required for this super talanted much loved boy.
Bad Points!! He sometimes weaves, mostly he doesnt but sometimes, randomly he does.
