Equestrian Advice & Guides All Disciplines
15.2 GREEN 7yr old (2016)
3 loose elastic & rhythmic forward paces.
His half brother is competing successfully at PSG
Has had a slow start to life but has hacked out & has had a few outings some time ago
Good to travel, shoe & clip
I have only owned him for a few weeks & he was sold to me as “not particularly spooky but does sometimes lack confidence to take the lead”
Will stay in a field alone (as long as he can see another horse) & is settled in the stable on his own.
Im having to rehome him as I came off as he suddenly spun around & then shot off in the menage from a walk & I certainly wasnt expecting it. He frightened himself when I lost my balance. He appears to have a super temperament but a reaction to a trigger may be the sharp spin which I can’t deal with due to my age & I have osteoporosis. When trying him out he had many opportunities to exhibit this behaviour, but didnt - passing a refuse lorry in action & people carrying an umberella in the street. He has a full 5 stage vet certificate from 12 weeks ago.
He needs a competent rider to restore trust & confidence
