Tully Boy is a stunning full up 15h, 5 year old, registered grey Connemara gelding. He is very well bred with 5 generations of pedigree recorded. He is very handsome with an extremely pretty head. He catches the eye and turns heads where ever he goes, he looks just like a unicorn. He is a very true to type Connemara with real quality who would do very well in the show ring in breed classes and in working hunter. He is the perfect size to be ridden by adults and teenagers making him a potential mother/ daughter share. He is a very happy boy who loves people and has a wonderful temperament and work ethic, he’s a real trier who loves life.
Tully Boy has 3 lovely very correct paces. He moves extremely well with a lovely relaxed walk with good over track, a ground covering trot which is loose and swinging and a super uphill canter. He has a soft snaffle mouth and is starting to work in a lovely outline up into the bridle. He has been produced slowly and carefully from day one and is a very exciting prospect for dressage. He is nice and responsive to the aids and is nicely forward going. He really enjoys his work and learning new things. He has been to a few areana hires and training show’s and is now ready to start competing at preliminary level. He will soon work up through the levels and has lots of potential to affiliate BD. He is still green being only a 5 year old and has a bright future ahead of him so he would not be suitable for a novice rider yet as I really want him to continue his education and excel with an experienced rider. He is a very straight forward ride and never bucks, rears, naps, bolts ect, he’s very polite, just needs a bit more mileage and experience.
Tully makes a lovely shape over a jump and naturally has a good technique. He hasn’t done a huge amount of jumping as I’m more into dressage and he is still a little green. He has been out and done some show jump training where he has been a star and jumped over coloured fillers. He has also been cross country schooling where he jumped a range of different jumps in a lovely relaxed rhythm. He definitely has potential to make a good show jumper, eventer, just needs a little more work in this area. He is very willing and happy to learn and is completely unspoilt so someone can put their own stamp on him,
Tully Boy hacks out well alone and in company. He is good in traffic and regularly crosses the a47 roundabout where he sees lorries and all sorts of traffic. He is very sane and sensible in open spaces and will happily canter in any order within a group without getting excited. Equally he hacks out for hours alone and is so much fun and very calm, he puts a lot of older horses to shame as he will go past anything and has a brilliant attitude. He has done some sponsored fun rides where he has been a star and behaved beautifully, he is also super easy in stubble fields. He’s a lot of fun and always puts a smile on your face.
Tully Boy has a lovely temperament, he loves people and having attention, he’s a real people boy. He’s really sweet in her stable and enjoys being groomed and pampered. He’s very easy to handle and has good manners. He will live in or out and mixes well with other horses. He's a very straight forward boy to have on the yard, he settles well and is a calm influence on stress horses.
Tully Boy must sell to a 5* knowledgeable home where he will continue his education and reach his potential. He will excel in dressage, showing, jumping or eventing as he has it all there. He would also suit a competent mother/ daughter share for all riding club activities or even a happy hacking pleasure home.
