I have owned this horse for over 3 and a half years now and he has given me lots of enjoyment and fun. He is a typical thoroughbred and although 90% of the time he is well behaved, he can be occasionally unpredictable. I have had his back, teeth and saddle checked recently and all is well and he is up to date with his jabs and worming.

Although I am a very experienced rider I am not as confident as I used to be, so I haven't been able to jump him as much as I would have liked to and he seems to really enjoy this. My confidence dip has nothing to do with this horse but I feel he picks up on it and this isn't fair on him as he needs someone to encourage him.

I love this horse very much and have come to the conclusion that he would be better suited in a home with a more experienced and confident rider to take him forward.

He has so much potential and has lovely up hill paces. I have competed him in dressage and he is always in the rosettes, scoring in the high 60s to early 70s and the judges seem to like him.

He is fine to clip, shoe, travel, hack out and stable and is currently living out with a field shelter and is well rugged. He can be turned out with other horses or alone but doesn't like being the last one left out. I feel he would suit a home with a routine and possibly coming in at night through the winter.

He has never been lame or sick with me, although with his previous home he had a leg injury that he did in the field. This had completely heeled before I bought him and has given him no issues whatsoever with me.

I have tried to be as honest as possible in this advert as he is an extremely treasured and much loved horse by all my family. A 5* home is very important to me and it has taken me a long time to make this decision. He has raced in his early years and has a Weatherby's passport.

Please contact me if you have any further questions.

No dealers, no novices, no joy riders. Homes will be vetted.
