Very, very sad sale of my 14.1hh, Irish sports horse cross Irish Cob mare. JulyDoll (Dolly) is a 9-year-old black mare. She willingly hacks alone or in company, front or back. Traffic does not phase her whatsoever: tractors, lorries, cars are no problem at all. Dolly adores show jumping: she will very comfortably jump 70-95cm courses and 120 individual, with the right person who has the time and facilities to train her she will excel in showjumping. Dolly and I won an 85cm show jumping league throughout Winter. She is very, very quick against the clock, incredibly rare for her not to be in the ribbons. She has qualified for trailblazers championships and UK riders every year but the champs always clashed with pony club camp. She has represented Burton Hunt pony club at area 6 show jumping, as well as coming 7th at the musical ride at pony club championships 2018. She’s worn many fancy-dress outfits that she’s never batted an eyelid at, such as being painted as a skeleton, the grinch and beauty and the beast. She’s been to the beach multiple times and has been in the sea. She’s also been to a CHAPS adventure play park for horses: standing on pedestals, walking on tyres, a seesaw for horses etc. Dolly loves cross country; she rarely stops at anything, goes straight in water. She has participated in pony club camp 3 years in a row engaging in many activities including polocrosse and mounted games. She has also been hunting and loved it. I passed my pony club D, D+ and C test on Dolly. Dressage is not her strong point, she’s great to lunge but does need work on the flat. Great to box, loads first time and when she’s loading regularly, she loads herself. She is currently, and always has been barefoot, she is good for the farrier and enjoys being clipped once getting the clippers on her. She is a typical mare and does have her quirks, however she is a talented mare it is easy to overlook these. She is not a novice ride. Dolly does require a chiropractor to see her roughly every 4 months, and she has a sunken eye which makes absolutely no difference to her capabilities whatsoever. She is currently not in work and hasn’t been since January because of A levels and work taking over my life, hence the sale because I do not have the time or resources to give her the love and attention she very much deserves. She is a very knowledgeable pony for her age and will make a cracking pony once she is fit again.
I have thousands of videos and pictures of her upon request doing everything from being tacked up to jumping etc.
Serious enquiries only please as this is a very sad sale.
