Coronation prince SHOW/DRESSAGE PONY
2013, welsh D, gelding, approx 14.2hh, bay
Sire: haighmoor Llewelyn
Dam: menai contessa
Harry is super easy to deal. He good to shoe, catch, groom and tack up. Will stand to be mounted. Brilliant with children, dogs and farm animals. This last year we focused on showing always coming home in ribbons. Went to his first county show at canwell and behaved amazingly. Always comes home with lovely comments off the judges and other people at shows. As a four year old I did abit of everything with him to get him out and about but as stated above last year or so we focus on just flat work and his showing. We are currently having regular lessons.
Three lovely paces to ride, very willing and level headed for his age.
He is hacked alone or in company. Snaffle mouth to school and hacking on roads. Out in fields and bridleways I ride him in a gag but always have breaks. Will happily plod behind other horses even when they get speedy.
He doesn’t need be rode every day can be left for weeks and just get on.
Can put in the odd small buck now and again. Nothing you wouldn’t be able sit, more if he haven’t been out on bridleways for a while and had a good canter. I noticed since his lessons he haven’t done this so personally I would put it down to balance before but rather state. Doesn’t nap rear kick bite or tank.
Harry can jump however haven’t done so for a while and would need go back to basic and rebuild up correctly and allow him build his confidence. This is no fault of his own. Mainly due to me already having an eventer I prefer to jump and due to his looks, movement and breeding wanting to focus him on his showing/dressage as this would be where he excel at.
Harry will only be sold to best of homes. Personally he would be best suit to a home that looking to show as in the right hands he would go far. Photos don’t do this pony any justice.
He good with farrier, dentist, vet, physio. Good to load in trailers and 3.5t (never tried in lorry but can’t see him being a issue) up to date with everything.
He will he sold with his every day bridle which has a hunter style nose band and a drop nose band, his show bridle. His made to measure show saddle and all his rugs. His made to measure GP saddle can be brought at addiction cost. Can transport at addiction cost.
Happy for a trial period to stay on present yard only.
5* home for this boy and he won’t be sold to just anyone, I will regret selling him as he a special boy but I can’t do him enough justice and bring him to his full potential. This boy deserve that chance.
