Project for an experienced owner or a lovely brood mare.
She has had a split hoof since very young age – most likely an injury to the coronary band – she has never been lame on this and it is just a matter of maintenance by the farrier now – she will be no problem as long as she has double clip shoes on her front feet. We can provide a statement from the vet who has done X-rays on her, which have shown no structural deformity. Her foot is the reason she has never been trained as it has taken a couple of years to fully heal. She still has a small visible crack on the hoof but this is just a surface crack and makes no difference to her performance.
Excellent with farriers.
She has been in training for 2 months and is now happy long reining with a dummy on her back.
