Benny is a genuine and uncomplicated 4yo (rising 5 yo) TB gelding by Churchill. He is 15.2hh and a lovely compact chap with level head on his shoulders. He has only had one run where he quickly proved that racing was far too much like hard work and came last. Infact you could probably have got round faster in a shopping trolley. He is an absolute gentleman who LOVES his grub, and loves his hacking in equal measure. He is snaffle mouthed, uncomplicated and a totally blank canvass for someone to put their own stamp on. He hacks out boldly alone and in company and has been brave enough to take the lead through streams, pigs, past peacocks and turkeys on a local bird farm. He's been to the beach with a young jockey on board and proven himself to be a genuine boy who pulls up easily in a snaffle. He is good to shoe, and tries very hard to be good to clip, albeit a bit ticklish. His schoolwork is coming along nicely and he's a genuinely straightforward ride. With a winter of work and a one to one, I'm sure he'll be ready to head out and do an Intro / prelim before Spring gets here. He is a mild windsucker. It's not chronic and he's not destroyed his wooden stable. But needs to be declared. He turns out happily with mares and geldings and is great to catch. Based near Aberporth West Wales.
