Leo is a sweet, gentle boy who is looking for a strong, confident rider to help him move forwards in his life. I’m going to start by being completely honest by saying, in the 2 years I have owned leo, it has been a hell of a windy road, however we are finally starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel! Leo was found to have kissing spine in October 2022, to which he had surgery for in January 2022, he has now recovered from this and is thoroughly loving his hacking 4/5 times a week. I am happy to answer any questions regarding his surgery and rehabilitation process????

Leo hacks brilliantly alone or in company, all he sometimes needs a gentle tap on the shoulder for encouragement but that’s all! He is great in traffic and open spaces.

Leo is currently only being hacked as he finds schooling physically and mentally challenging at the moment, he is still in the process of getting stronger so we have found he reacts better to hacking as he is visibly so much happier and we went to remind him that working is enjoyable! We have started taking Leo to weekly sessions on the water treadmill and this has improved his overall posture, physique and strength massively.

He is good to shoe, load onto the lorry (walks right on) and catch.

Because of his past, I like to ensure he gets a massage/physio out to him more often to ensure that he is feeling as good as he can so I know he’s moving in the right direction.

Leo is ONLY for sale as I have a new job opportunity which requires me to move away and unfortunately cannot take him with me. Absolutely NO time wasters as I want the absolute best for my boy????
