We are looking for a reliable, long-term sharer for our pony Ariel; someone, who is interested to ride and take care of her 1, 2 or 3 days a week (ideally including Wednesdays & Saturdays - tbd).
She is a very pretty blue-roan mare, 13.2hh, forward going, versatile and great fun to ride! My daughter (at uni now) has been riding her for 12 years, in flatworks, poles, jumping and many, many hacks! I do ride her myself, she would be great for a not too tall young teenager, who has been riding for a while.
We are stabled at the DIY yard of The Durdans Stables http://www.thedurdansliverystables.co.uk/ in a very beautiful and peaceful setting with direct access to Epsom Downs for lovely long hacks. Short hacks can lead through the woods around the fields; there are great facilities with an outdoor and indoor school at the main yard.
Various instructors visit the lower yard on a regular basis and there are clinics organised to join, you can also bring your own teacher or just enjoy your own time with the pony. Sharing her would include some stable duties (mainly in winter, when she comes in overnight), feeding her on the day you ride & lots of tlc please :)
