Very sad sale of my mare Annie. She is only for sale due to not having enough time to compete her to her full potential. She's super talented and loves her work so is being wasted with me. I would love her to go to a home who are going to learn and have fun competing with her.
5* home essential, no novices please.
She's a beautiful, safe and sensible mare. Last year I had a small 11 year old girl riding her and competing her. Where they qualified for an unaffiliated dressage championship and then finished 5th with 72% in the final. I have competed her up to elementary and is consistently in the prizes. Always 70%+ at prelim and novice and with the right rider could easily progress up the levels pure dressage as she finds it all very easy and is a very good mover.
Saying that she has also jumped around metre tracks and is very fast against the clock. She has won a British Novice at Arena UK (but on a ticket). She has also been placed (3rd and 10th) at BE90 but isn't a massive fan of the xc phase as she is so careful and much prefers the dressage and showjumping ring.
Good to handle, load, travel, clip, farrier, dentist.
She does occasionally do a very mild form of windsucking if she is bored in her stable or looking for attention but it’s very easily managed to stop her doing it. She doesn’t do it at all out in the field and it isn’t something she does all the time. Never caused any issues at all (colic/breathing etc). Never crib bites. Feel free to ask more about this because it’s a very minor quirk that really shouldn’t put you off this talented mare.
Please no time wasters as this is a really hard sale as I've had her since a 4 year old and if I had more time I would not be selling.
