He’s the most wonderful honest boy, but still has the character of a connie. We have been there and done it all, he’s a perfect low level all rounder that looks after his rider. He is exceptional around children and dogs. I think he’d be best suited to an experienced mother daughter share, or a happy hacker that wants to enjoy a quieter life and can appreciate the joy of having a safe horse you can take out and about. Even though he’s been there and done it, I think he’d appreciate a less competitive lifestyle and someone just wanting to enjoy him for him.
What he can do:
Fun rides
Beach rides (been solely numerous times)
Hacks alone or in company
Hunts (very bold and fun out hunting)
Camps/clinics
Low level dressage
SJ and XC up to 70-80cm
Good for absolutely everything, farrier (barefoot), dentist, chiro, physio, travelling, clipping etc. The only thing he won’t tolerate is having his legs fully clipped out (would require a sedation) but can clip everywhere else. Lives in or out, with mares or geldings.
Anyone that knows him can vouch for him, he’s just amazing.
This last year especially, we’ve had regular lessons, camps, clinics and done some unaffiliated competitions. He’s never going to be a dressage deva, but does try. He mostly enjoys xc, fun rides, hacking and just going out and about. He’s got plenty left in him, just not for what I’d like to do now unfortunately (aiming to progress onto 1m ). Which is incredibly sad, but I need to make the best decision for us both.
When I got him, he couldn’t do anything - I’ve taught him everything he knows. However, I want to highlight what he can do now is his limit. So please, not to be purchased by a teenager that wants to jump 90 as he won’t (he wants too and has done it for me) but he’s not the confirmation for it to done competitively. However, what he can do now, he’s a super star at.
Only the best home wanted for this amazing boy. £7k to include, tack and full wardrobe.
