Panko - Complete Gentleman

Panko is approx 16hh, 8yrs TB gelding. He has successfully run on the flat and over hurdles, with his last run being 24th Aug 2020. He has since been let down and turned away in the field over winter for a well deserved holiday.

He has recently been brought back into work and is thoroughly enjoying living life at a more leisurely pace.

Panko hacks alone or in company, he is not strong or silly and is good in traffic and I have even put my novice boyfriend on who hasn’t ridden in years and he was a saint! He can walk, trot and canter on both reins in an approximate circle shape, although as seen in the video, flatwork wouldn’t be his forte! However he has a lovely little jump and really enjoys having a pop.

He is very well behaved around children and dogs and is extremely easy to do in all ways (shoe, clip, catch, load, brush and fuss, lives in or out). He really is a complete gentleman and sweet horse to have around.He was a yard favourite so it is really important we find him the right home.

He would suit a hacking, fun rides, occasional bit of riding/pony club, the odd Hunter trial etc., generally low level home as unfortunately his limbs aren’t clean enough and as you can see from the video he does not have the moment to go Eventing or Showing. Needs a home where he will be properly looked after and loved. He also enjoys the company of other horses so would suit somewhere he can have a companion!
