Bryncerdin Merlyn is the only Welsh Cob Dun stallion worldwide. Often the Buckskin are still called 'Duns' but this stallion is the only true dun Welsh cob stallion. He has produced many amazing partbred and full Welsh, alot are very keen jumpers.

He himself likes things simple, he enjoys being out and social, loves a bum scratch, good to lead, load and deal with, can be unkeen to have headcollar on. Hes not nasty at all, never bitten or kicked.

No lumps or bumps, no reason he couldn't be backed and show.

Merlyn has only covered naturally, he is not nasty or still while covering and still easy to get hold of and remove if needed. I couldn't see him being a problem covering inland.

There is a want for him to be dummy trained, with many breeders for Australia, France, Spain and varies other places, wanting to use him to open up the true Dun gene in Welsh horses.

Despite the endless amounts saying he won't give the dun gene off, he has done with many beautiful Red duns, Bay duns, Black duns and even a Dunalino.
