CCTV Captures The Moment A Runaway Horse Charges Through Bar

The last thing you expect when you’re sitting in a bar is to see a horse hurtling full speed towards you.

Last week in a bar just north of Paris, customers were taken by surprise whilst enjoying a relaxing beverage, when a large racehorse smashed through the doors and kicked its way across the bar.

The horse enters the bar and at first sight, all customers run for their lives. The horse continues to run through the bar, bucking and kicking over tables and chairs before turning around and hurtling back the other way.

The horse’s trainer, Jean-Marie Beguigne, said that the horse had escaped from the Chantilly Racecourse, located roughly a mile away from the bar where she ended up.

The horse bolted from the ground after her rider had fallen off.

"Between the track and the stables, her rider fell off. The filly escaped by going on to the road, and crossing a roundabout before entering this bar. It is all quite exceptional."

He also added that the horse 'showed no trauma or anxiety' and had a 'penchant for escape'.

Luckily no one was hurt during the incident.

The owner of the Chantilly PMU bar, Stephane Jasmin, shared the CCTV footage on YouTube and said: "She pushed the door open, and raced straight for the betting corner.

"Then the filly turned around, breaking a table and chairs. We've never seen anything like it."
