I have ridden since I was four and used to work at the local riding school in Sevenoaks, Kent. Work took priority and I was able to ride less often. Over the past six years I have had part loans and then had my own, very young horse. She was bought my by my now ex boyfriend who couldn’t ride her and did not have enough knowledge about horses to look after her. Due to circumstances, I had a bad fall which was not her fault. For the first time I lost my confidence and again due to circumstances was not able to get back on her enough times which I wanted to. She is now on loan to a friend of mine (professional) and she is still a challenge (not her fault) but well cared for and with a fearless rider. I am taking weekly lessons now after nearly a year’s break and feel more and more confident each time I go. I hope to be back to the stage I was within six months. I enjoy jumping but am not passionate like I am with dressage. I also love hacking, particularly across fields, at walk, trotting, cantering and galloping with or without company.
I have loved my part loans/shares like my own and am more than happy with yard duties. However, I am conscious of the owner and treat that with respect. I’m just under 8 stones and am looking for a 14.2-15.2 I spend my time between Wadhurst, East Sussex and Tunbridge Wells, Kent if anyone is interested. I filled in the boxes for age etc but am not bothered, just whomever thinks I may be suitable. I do have a soft spot though for Irish horses but whatever is right.
