Horses for Loan23 yrsBlackMare
Millie has been with me for 14 years and was once a smart riding cob! However, she lost an eye a year ago and has not been ridden since. She might be able to be ridden (she's sound) but as I've not been riding her I'm offering her as a companion pony.
She prefers to have her handler on her sighted side and will only go on the lunge line on her sighted side.
For permanent loan only because her aging owner has to give up horses altogether and is downsizing to a non-horsey property. She would come with all her gear.
Millie was never a 1st pony but she's not a difficult girl. She doesn't like loading into trailers a great deal so when I had one I'd have to practice her every once in awhile so that she didn't forget that they weren't monsters! But she was fine.
She's barefoot but has worn front shoes before. She will come with hoof boots.
I can't recall if she is microchipped, though she must be! However, she's regularly vaccinated and has her teeth rasped yearly.
I would happily pass on ownership to the right person but am wary, as you can imagine, and want to make sure that Millie is settled and happy (and that her new owners are happy with her).
She has a small very aged companion of 11.2 hands that could also come with her.
