We have owned Chance since October 2015 and are selling as my daughter is having a gap year then off to University.
Chance is 12 years old and in previous years we have taken him to Pony Club 90 ODE events at Coombelands, Fairoak and Cobham as well as lots of training day's and pony camp.
Chance particularly excels at dressage and has been to Wellington for NSEA competitions as well as Pony Club Area 13 Dressage and he qualified for Pony Club Nationals in 2016.
Chance achieves good scores at dressage and looks amazing in the arena. He has the potential to compete as a pure dressage horse and would do extremely well at a high level such as elementary.
Chance has a quiet nature and very easy to handle will stand for hours while you fuss over him, never bites or kicks. He is sensitive and very responsive to ride, quick to learn, soft in hand, lovely movements and is developing good lateral steps.
He has also attended Unaffiliated Show Jumping at Merrist Wood, Parwood, Coombelands and Crofton Manor. However, he is much better at cross country than show jumping as more uptight in the arena so can knock the odd pole, this may be less with more time and jumping practice.
Chance much prefers cross country and jumps everything from ditches, into water, down steps, brushes and goes a sensible speed.
Chance is a forward ride and requires an experienced person over 16 years old, who is a quiet and patient to develop him further.
He is safe and sound to hack out, is happy to go down lanes and in a tunnel under major road but will look at the odd thing. Chance travel / loads well and very well behaved for to shoe, lunge, clip, and the vet.
He has high withers so he had a new a black bridle and saddle when we brought him which is a good fit and is available to purchase.
