Looking to part loan my very first horse!

Hi, I’m 20 years old and study horse care at a Level 2 City & Guilds standard at college. I am very hardworking & trustworthy, so can be relied upon to care for the horse I find properly.

I am 5ft 3 and weigh 8 stone 6 pounds, so I am only looking for a 13hh horse, as I want to be able to handle and ride them fully independently. I’m only able to part loan the horse for two days (three maximum) as I have college the rest week.

I’m looking for a chestnut mare or gelding, (not fussed on the gender), that is early to mid teens with a solid schooling ability and very good manners (both when ridden and handled), no vices please! As I am completely new to part loaning, so I want the experience to be positive and not backfire.

I am based in Leicestershire (LE9 area) and can’t drive, so I would prefer something local if possible.
