Heaven (Afan Heaven Sent) is a gorgeous 14 year old 11.3hh Welsh Section A Palomino Mare.

Heaven was used as a lead rein pony earlier in life and then bred some lovely foals after her previous little jockeys had outgrown her. Recently she has been used as a lead rein pony for my niece who comes and rides now and again and as a companion to our youngster.

To my knowledge she has only ever done lead rein and never been asked to go off lead rein. We have only really used her for hacking on the lead rein as we do not have an arena or facilities so she’s more been used for tootles out along the lane and through the woods etc rather than arena work. She does happily walk over coloured poles etc and out hacking over little logs and through water etc.

Happy to live in or out. She has no history of laminitis and lived out on good grass all summer. She’s currently living out with access to a field shelter but she loves her stable too and loves coming in for a haynet and a groom. She is a lovely pony in the field and will live with mares/geldings/foals and will happily share with another (she shared a stable with my youngster for the last few winters).

Good to groom, bath, clip, for the blacksmith (only ever been barefoot as has excellent feet), travel (loads and travels in either a trailer or horsebox). She can sometimes be funny to catch for a new person but being a typical greedy welshie a carrot does the trick.

Fully vaccinated, up to date worming, dentist, blacksmith etc.
