16.3 2007 KWPN Ster mare
Johnson x Rubinstein x Alabaster
Imported from Holland as a youngster and professional started, she had a few outings as a five year old and then was used to breed two foals. After this my plans were to bring her back into wok and be my next riding horse, but I am starting to face facts that I just do not have the time for her between work, University and other horses. She is best in a routine and would really thrive one on one, she is a really sweet cuddly horse that loves fuss. She is in very light work currently, but sporadic, she lunges and long reins nicely and if you could give her four five weeks consistent work you would be good to go. I just do not have the time or facilities to bring her back to full work. If you are a confident ambitious rider on a limited budget this horse could really open up some opportunities for you. She is sold from the field as a broodmare or project to bring back into full work. She is not suitable for a novice or nervous rider. She can shown doing ground work lunge/long reining but I have no saddle to show her ridden.
As a broodmare she has bred two foals, getting in foal easily by chilled AI both times. She does her foals well and is an easy keeper and easy to foal. Her pedigree is obviously full of grand prix horses. The mother is the maternal sibling of Blue Hors Zalabaster approved breeding stallion
She is very good to handle on the ground, my non horsey other half can lead her around, is good for farrier vet, clip etc. Is up to date with jabs. She is barefoot and never has been shod, will live in or out, is a good doer and has wintered without being rugged. Never unsound, rarely sees the vet and is a generally lovely horse that has been a bit wasted. Obviously a little older but with very little mileage on the clock.
