Due to unforseen circumstances I'm having to sell my beautiful 16.3hh Irish draught, I bought her 2 years ago as a 4 year old she had done hunts, cross country, show jumping. Since I've owned her we've done small shows and she absolutely loves jumping although can get excited. I've not got a horsebox to get about alot so never been cross country or hunts. When i got her she got excited hacking didn't like hacking alone or anything. She's is now fine hacking alone in the woods etc but needs an extremely confident rider she hacks on the.road but prefers company and she has to see vehicles before they get to her as she spooks. She's good in the stable can be abit bargy but if you show her who's boss she will be fine. She's great in the field she mixes with mares and geldings and loves company. She would have to be turned out with company as she runs absolutely crazy round the field if alone. We had problems with her being in season alot and she was awful to work with for a while she kept rearing and spinning walking to the field near geldings or anything but we put her on a liquid mix called "slut mix" she gets it in her feed and she's changed so much, we also use a chiffney to take her to and from the field. She hates birds also. I really do not want to sell her but loaning is alot of hassle and she needs brought to her full potential which would be show jumping. I only want serouis inquirys as this is an extreamly sad sale. She loves attention and grooming she's good with farrier all jags worming etc upto date good with dentist. She will come with tack rugs etc. She is not a novice ride and needs a confident rider. 5* homes only. No loans with view to buy. She has splints in front legs but when I bought they were fully formed and caused no problems at all. Vets have no worries about them ever causing her trouble.
