Gypsy George, 13.2hh 9yr old gelding

Gypsy George is a super smart, handsome, friendly, cheeky, attention seeking, 13.2hh chunky gelding.

George was broken in as a 4yr old and did a little riding away with his owner who had had him since a foal, but due to her health complications, george soon become her big fluffy pet! Now a further 5 years down the line she come to the tough decision due to loosing grazing to rehome him to me, where I have brought him back into some work and he is now ready to move on to his next, hopefully, home for life. George is a really close piece of my friends heart so she would love to know where he goes, and he will only be going to the best of homes, so no dealers please!

George is good to do on the ground, good to catch, lead, tie up, trim. He does need encouragement to load, but this isn't going to take you hours, he stands on the ramp and does his best yoga stretches to get the bucket of feed you have trying to entise him into the trailer..once In he stands and travels perfect!

He shares a field with mares and geldings happily, although he is top dog of the field, he is far from a bully. He just likes his grub!


Since being with me, I have slowly brought him back into work, what I will say, has been a absolute doddle!, He hasn't put a foot wrong from the say go. Iv been working on hacking him, mainly as at the moment, I have nowhere to sensibly school! He has been out alone and in company hacking, keeping things sweet in a walk and trot, passing traffic and scary things brilliant. He can be vocal and eager to get home to his friends when alone, but can't expect anything better after 4 years out! This is just Abit of head shaking and a March, a firm 'george give over!' soon stops this. No bucking/rearing/bolting!

He is far from a spooky type, and very sensible given his early days but he needs his work continuing to get the most out of him. He would be a fantastic happy hacker being so bold and brave, but also would be a super alrounder with schooling!

Snaffle mouthed, not strong at all, more kick along than forward, but he is early in his days so he could be sharpened up if wanted.

He is up to date with his feet trimming, dentist, vaccinations, and worming.

Under the lovely mud, there is actually a stunning bay gelding with 4 white socks and a good blaze.

Would suit Anyone wanting a easy, sensible project to put their own finishes on. Being only 13.2hh he is a very stocky boy and takes up the leg very well. Iv had several riders on him, all looking sensible, a 12yr old small built boy, a 5'2 slim built lady and a 5'10/11 man to give you a idea of his size.
