Gorgeously striking 8 year old, 16hh Buckskin gelding, 3/4 Andalusian (PRE) x 1/4 Comtois, "Aztec Cremoso" bred by Aztec Andalusian stud.Good to shoe/trim, clip, happy living out or stabled, great traveler & cool as a cucumber even after hours in a lorry (he's also great in a trailer)
A genuine horse that has done a little bit of everything and all with great success and try-hard attitude. He has a lot of potential for dressage with the right person to give him one-on-one attention.
In the past year he's been working on mainly schooling and solo hacking confidence. He has been working well on classical long lines and balanced lateral work. He has established leg yield and is beginning to work out shoulder in as well as pole work to help his fitness. This horse has a fantastic work ethic, really tries for you and can be left weeks without being ridden without any silliness.
He has a funny, cheeky, loving character that will be best seen once a relationship on the ground is established.
He has done liberty work in the past as well as being ridden bareback, western, classical dressage and long reining.
He's happy to hack out in company and alone although I would say he gets his confidence from his rider when solo hacking. He has great endurance and has done a couple of sponsored rides.
Although great to school and hack he is not a novice ride as he is a big, powerful horse. Can have a little spook at the odd pheasant but does not rear, buck, bolt, nap etc.
Traffic & large farm machinery, dogs, bikes etc isn't a problem for him.
He absolutely loves children and although a big boy he will happily stand to be loved by all members of the family.
Would suit a confident mother/daughter team or someone that may want to work with a wonderful British bred Iberian with great potential.
This is a very sad as I am intending to leave the country full time and need to sell and his loan mum wanted to buy him but is not able to at this time.
