Lady has been through isolation & checks etc. No sign of sickness, laminitis, lameness, sweet itch or asthma etc. Nor any injuries, arthritis, lumps or bumps etc. Fine in mixed herd & easy to catch.
Good for vet & farrier & to pick all four feet.
She is all up to date. Microchipped & Passported. Vaccinated against flue & tetanus. Wormed regularly. Barefoot & good feet trimmed every six weeks by farrier. Teeth checked & rasped yearly by equine dentist.
Backing purposely delayed & not been rushed, hammered nor jumped to allow her to mature as we run a small family funded, not for profit, rescue centre & think animal welfare is important.
My daughter Loves Lady, has a great bond with her & has backed her. She would have loved to keep her to show & compete her but although the right weight unfortunately too tall for her.
My girl & experienced horse trainer has kindly backed her bareback. (The training saddle was not fitted so not used for actual riding.) She has got her great to be tacked up, lunged and to get on and ride. Stands mega-still to get on from ground or mounting block. Even for noisy, slow, clumsy or disabled person to get on. My girl would ride her around the farm with just a neck strap (no tack). Never bolted, reared or bucked with rider nor tried to throw them off. Even visitor with serious health issues rode her around no probs. Still prefers if a person or pony goes in front or is near by but learning. She was ready for proper schooling & to go more places etc. So good I had to remind my daughter to always wear a helmet. However, a blood test by vet then showed her to be in foal. Hence we turned her away. With the weather she is now in at night.
As Lady is such a beautiful pony with so much potential & will likely in time be a good little jumper we would like her to find a kind home.
She is wasted here as we have no child or teen small enough for her. Perhaps there is a family out there with a promising child or teen who might not otherwise be able to afford such a gorgeous pony & would love the chance to welcome a foal. If person does not want to keep the foal we would, all being well, be happy to take it back once weaned or they could keep it or find it a good home themselves. If the foal turns out anywhere near as nice as it's mum we are sure it will be lovely.
Before they know it she will have had/raised the foal & be ready.
We believe she has so much potential in the right hands. It could be general riding - first ridden, second ridden, hacking or Pony Club.
In due course showing, competing, jumping, kids' cross country etc.
With right input maybe even an eye catching ride & drive.
Will consider producer if kind & honest & not in a hurry.
Bargain at a re-homing fee of £2,000 as seen, not for profit.
Full ownership & passport transferred & signed receipt given i.e. the pony + foal becomes fully yours.
Open to viewing & vetting although not presently in work due to foal.
Honest advise given& at the viewing happy to give as much detail of her past, her stunning dam & the stallion as we know.
Happy to deliver if person pays horse box hire, fuel etc and happy to stay in touch if person wants.
We can not re-home unseen but you are welcome to book a viewing & come and kindly check her out. Think you will be amazed at how gorgeous and lovely she is - especially when she moves!
Must be kind, suitably experienced & have OK place or paddock.
