Abbey has been in the same home since she was 5 and is low millage for her age. She has mainly hunted, competed in hunter trials, the odd ODE and in between all that hacked and jumped at home for fun.
She absolutely loves to have a job and she is fit and ready to take on her next new adventure.
Hunting, Abbey loves to be upfront, she would probably be very useful in hunt service, though this is untried. She jumps like a stag, is very bold and careful and can get you out of any trouble if you’re on a complete misser. She’ll do her absolute best to look after her jockey.
She’s recently been out on a festive hunt ride and was an absolute dream.
She loves being out in the countryside and open spaces, she’s definitely an outdoorsy girl and doesn’t like to be cooped up in the arena. One of her favourite things is a good gallop up a stubble field, she isn’t strong and stops easily. Equally she will mooch round the lanes and tracks on the buckle end taking in the scenery. She can be a bit shy of big lorry’s but apart from that she is solid on the roads and happily walks past things like cement mixers and fires no bother.
She would definitely suit a home where she’s kept busy doing all the fun things. She would love to have a go at team chasing or take part in hunt rides. She’d enjoy a day on the beach or a long forest hack. If any of these tickle your fancy too then get in touch.
She’s good with all the usual, shoe, clip, travel and is ridden by everyone on the yard.
She wants someone as up for fun and as keen as she is to enjoy life.
