Before anything else - Rocky will need a small surgery done in the upcoming months (not certain when) due to a sinus problem which will mean time off through the loan contract. I know this will put people off, but i’m happy to discuss this in full detail to whoever is still interested after reading the rest of his advert ????

Rocky is my 16.2hh, 9 year old thoroughbred gelding. He came off the track about a year and a half ago now, and since coming to me he has been an angel❤️ he is super well behaved in traffic, alone and in company, and so far has also been well behaved in open spaces! Rocky is quite green and weak in the school, and since coming to me we have never jumped. He has never bucked / reared / bolted, but needs a confidence giving rider to help further his education, therefore he is not a novice ride. He is pretty much a giant friendly dog to handle on the ground and is very respectful. Also foot perfect to shoe/ worm / physio / dentist / ETC
I’m looking for someone to take over the reins due to my financial situation, mental health and confidence, even though he is pretty much perfect in every way, i feel stepping back is the best thing for me at the moment. He would be best suited for someone who is kind, patient and gentle and is interested in lots of hacking and a willing project in the school. He really is the truest gentleman, and will go so far in the right hands.
absolutely novices, people straight out of the riding school or under 17s under any circumstances, this is not negotiable!
We are on a lovely small DIY yard where there are multiple people (including myself) that are always about to ride with, and you will have loads of support!
