We have owned him for just over a year but he has been within our family since he was 5 when he was broken in.
He’s a 13.2hh new forest pony on a green new forest society passport. He comes with a big wardrobe and all his tack too.
In the time we have had him he has been out showjumping, cross country, dressage, pony patrol (games handy pony etc) arena show cross, showing and kids pony jockey training. We have never hunted him so can’t say what he would be like doing that I’m afraid. He has enjoyed everything he has done and jumps for fun jumping 75/80cm courses at competitions with ease and over a meter at home. Occasionally if he gets excited when jumping big he can pop a little buck in but nothing nasty it’s just a yee haa moment that’s easily sat and ridden through.
He is more than willing to be dressed up at Christmas etc as nothing fazes him and my daughter regularly rides him in the school with either no tack on and just a head collar or without a saddle or bridle! He literally takes it all in his stride.
My daughter hacks him out alone and in company around the tracks at our livery yard and this summer had lots of fun on the stubble fields.
He’s good for the farrier, currently bare foot but had shoes on in the past, dentist, catch, clip. He travels perfectly but sometimes needs a moment to load other times he will walk in by himself with the rope over his neck.
He is currently living in on a night and out during the day but before we owned him he always lived out 24/7 so he’s happy either way.
Currently in a mixed herd but has also been in with just geldings and just mares.
Up to date with vaccinations, teeth and physio.
Can supply plenty more videos and photos upon request
