Harley is possibly the sweetest horse with the best stable manners I have ever had the privilege of owning. On the ground he is respectful and super easy to handle.
Harley is established in the three paces on the flat and has started to learn shoulder in, leg yield, travers. He is fairly green for his age as he hadn’t done much since being professionally started as a three year old. That being said he is very sensible. He really enjoys jumping and cross country having attended clinics doing both and proving to be very brave. I know he would be best suited to a home looking for a horse to confidently take you round a 70/80cm course as opposed to anything bigger. This is the reason for his sale as I am looking for a horse to take out competitively at a higher level and it would be unfair to push him to do this. Harley is brave and honest but I feel like he could be thoroughly enjoyed by a competent teenager or small adult who is looking to do fun rides and be competitive at a lower level and have a lot of fun in every discipline.
He hacks anywhere and everywhere both alone and in company. I work on a riding school and lead the hacks out to the beach, on the bridle paths and the roads and he never puts a foot wrong. Harley has attended arena hires, cross country and showjumping clinics and behaved impeccably.
Good to shoe, load, vet, teeth, clip and is up to date with worming, vaccinations etc. He can be a little nervous when clipping around his face but this can be easily managed with a small, quiet set of clippers. He is a yard favourite especially with the horses, he’s everybody’s friend!
Never sick or sorry and has had no lameness issues since I’ve had him.
I have got absolutely hundreds of pictures and videos of him. This is a very sad sale of a much loved horse but I know he will be better placed as someone else’s forever horse ????
