Very sad sale of our little coblet. We have ALL had so much fun with him. (Myself 5’4”, Nephew 5’3”, children 6 + 8 year old)

Prince is a best friend, a guy you just love.

Although Prince measures 12.2hh he carries the leg and rides like a 13.2hh. We have done a variety of things with him from showing, jumping, hunting, pleasure rides, to your everyday adventures. You just load him up and go!

He will happily pop around a small course of jumps, although he will not be your next JA he’s certainly gives it his all. Out hunting he is a true saint, he will do as asked, whether that’s standing, waiting or let’s have a go at that hedge. Schooling he will plod around with my 2 children on the lunge or lead rein or will work in a soft outline, off the leg with a more experienced rider. His schooling isn’t a finished article nor his favourite but again he will give it a go. That been said he does do well in the show ring.

Hacking Prince will hack anywhere !! He will hack out alone or in company, he is no different with or without company, nothing really fazes him, tractors, wagons, open fields, water etc.

At the moment Prince lives out 24/7 but has previously been stabled at night in the winter or the night before a show. He has been turned out with both mares and geldings, with no drama.

Good for the dentist, to catch, load, travel, clip (fidgets abit with legs), farrier (barefoot he has good feet) etc etc

Up to date with vaccinations, feet, teeth etc

Snaffle mouth at all times, when my 2 children ride him I do put a daisy rein on him, as he stretch’s low (not for grass, as in arena) but this unbalances them.

Farrier has said he looks to have had laminitis in the past, although he hasn’t with us or previous owner. He is kept on limited grazing as he practically lives on fresh air and like myself, only has to look at food and the pounds go on.

In summer he has mild sweet itch, this is easily managed with a regular bath and a fly rug.

This is an honest and genuine sad sale. Ponies like him are hard to find. I’ve described him to the best of my knowledge, probably made him sound half the pony he is.

We would love to see him in a similar home where he will be loved by all. Only the best of homes need apply.
