Eccles Equestrian Ltd Horse Transport & Self Drive Hire

Eccles Equestrian Ltd offers local, national & international horse transport as well as 3.5 tonne Self – Drive Hire & HGV/ Class 1 Driver Hire. We are a family run company providing a friendly, professional & dedicated service. We are DEFRA TYPE 2 approved, fully insured with breakdown & horse recovery cover (also covering Self – Drive Hirers) and all our drivers are highly experienced & competent equine professionals with full WATO certification.

Eccles Equestrian Ltd is owned by Claire Eccles, qualified Equine Sports Massage Therapist. Claire has had a passion for horses & has Show Jumped since childhood. She holds a Class 1 HGV licence & has transported horses all over Europe throughout her career, both for an international transport company & freelance for professional riders to international competitions. Claire currently provides a driver hire service alongside transportation in our own vehicles.

We cater for all types of horse transport including individual & combined loads & always try to accomadate for individual needs. Your horses welfare, safety, hygiene & communication with our customers are always our top priority. For Self – Drive Hire we provide a 3.5 tonne safety design lorry with full height “stallion partitions” & no breast bars for increased safety. The vehicle is fitted with CCTV, reverse cameras & horse fans with temperature control. Based in Beccles, Suffolk we are situated close to the A12 & A143, with good transport links to Norwich (approx 17 miles), Ipswich (approx 35 miles) Bury St Edmunds (approx 45 miles) & Newmarket (approx 60 miles).
