Passport says 20 however when the dentist checked her over we were told she could pass for 14.
Not a novice ride or first pony! Needs a confident teen to give her confidence in jumping. She has 3 lovely paces on the flat, will drop into an outline if asked, has jumped up to 3ft at home and jumps 2ft at competitions. She isn’t a huge fan of jumping but with the right rider she will jump around a 1ft9/2ft course no problem! However, can refuse if not given confidence by the rider. Not nasty in anyway just needs to be told what to do. She isn’t built for constant work, you can leave her in the field for a month and get on her and she would be the exact same as when you left her! She is given half a sachet of danilon a day to help with stiffness and also has physiotherapy now and again to help her feel more free.
If you want to compete every weekend she isn the pony for you, or if you want to jump 2ft9/3ft courses then she isn’t right for you either. She has been to riding club, pony club, pony camp e.t.c. therefore has a lot of experience and loves to please her rider.
Can be forward going in open spaces therefore needs a confident rider who can control her, loves to go for a good gallop however if you gallop with a group i would recommend sticking at the back or else she thinks it is a race. Never nasty, just gets excited.
Hacks alone or in company, not generally spooky but does like to “have a look” at the odd thing. Would be a good happy hacker. Good to shoe, Dentist, Catch and load, travels alone or in company! Has amazing ground manners, will stand all day to be brushed and fussed. She will stand quietly to be tacked up, never rude or silly!
Up to date with worming, vaccinations, farrier and dentist, not shod as has good feet as we have been told by the farrier and we do quite a bit of road work and no problem there.
Only for sale due to being hopelessly outgrown. Would consider long term loan to the right home.
