Lady would make a super event horse or someone wanting to do high level pc or rc! Lady had a foal when she was 4 with a top showjumper who breeds horses as her bloodlines are fantastic! I’ve been told by the person who broke her in she was bred to event however she will turn her hoof to literally anything!(She was broken in at 7/8) She has the sweetest and calmest temperament I’ve ever known a horse to have!! She can be led in from the field and ridden by my novice 9 year old cousins and she will look after them perfectly! I bought her unseen hoping she would be my next foxhunter horse for showjumping however the more I’ve ridden her, the more I’ve realised she doesn’t have the spark that I like for sj as I love my fizzy fun quirky mares! She’s too chilled and enjoys her xc too much to be doing jumping with me however would happily keep doing it! She’s very brave, bold and honest when it comes to jumping and will take off any stride at any angle! She happily jumps around a 1.05m sj course!
Out Xc she has proven she has huge scope and stamina to go out and do BE, she’ll happily jump a fence into water, a jump with a ditch, skinny’s, corners, steeplechase fences and hedges! She’s jumped xc fences up to 1.30 out on the xc course at somerford.
She’s very responsive to the leg and isn’t strong, she’s ridden in a myler snaffle in a Micklem.
She would also suit a hunting home to as she will go on forever and never runs out of steam, her flatwork is well balanced and she has good paces, she does amazing transitions, walk to canter, canter to halt, flying changes ect and would easily get high scores in dressage!
She’s perfect to hack, she would hack alone or in company, she isn’t fussed by either, she’s good to load, farrier, pull mane ect. Lady would be ideal for an experienced rider that maybe lacks confidence as she is safe and has no naughty tricks up her sleeve but no novices as she isn't a kick on riding school type.
