Firefighters Work For Three Hours To Pull Horse From A Ditch
Seeing an animal in danger is extremely unpleasant, luckily for one horse a member of the public spotted her and a group of rescuers were on hand as soon as possible to save her, after getting trapped in a ditch.
At 4.45 pm firefighters received a call to say that a horse was in trouble and stuck in a ditch on Division Lane, Blackpool.
Two fire engines arrived at the scene from Fleetwood and South Shore along with the rope rescue team from St Annes, as quickly as possible.
The heroic firefighters battled for three hours to free the horse after she became stuck in a ditch, firefighters even had to use a 4x4 vehicle to help them pull the horse out to safety.
"Two fire engines from Fleetwood and South Shore were called to rescue a horse which was stuck in a ditch on Division Lane, Blackpool. Firefighters alongside colleagues from the rope rescue team at St Annes and 4x4 vehicle from Leyland spent three hours rescuing the horse."
After three tough hours, the horse was pulled to safety thanks to the team of rescuers that refused to give up and all worked together to save the horse.
