NEXGEN Sets The Young Horse Standard For 2021
The people of Derbyshire were very concerned as they spotted a group of horses running loose near potentially dangerous areas. Many of them phoned in to report the case to the police.
Derbyshire police had to jump into action when they received a number of calls reporting a group of escape horses on the loose.
Police say they received dozens of calls all regarding the horses that were loose on the A38 at Little Eaton, it was said that the horses had escaped from their field.
The horses were guided away from the road, however, the police were still concerned as this meant they were heading towards the unfenced railway line.
On Sunday afternoon a tweet told readers that the horses were still ‘giving the police the runaround.’ It also added “Officers attended to secure them and they’ve got out again! We’ve made contact with the owners who are on their way to sort it. Thanks to all who reported this to us,”
Officers had already secured the horses once and returned them safely to their field but it appeared the horses were quite enjoying their free time as they took to the road again.
Thankfully the owners were contacted and were on the way to solve the problem.
