Beautiful Hackney Mare for Sale! **£3,250 ONO including all tack**

Valentine is a 16 year old Hackney mare who I have owned for three years. I bought her from a riding school in Central London where she took part in lead rein, RDA and intermediate/advanced lessons.

Val has 3 forward paces & schools very nicely. She will effortlessly do flying changes! She is a hardworking, dedicated, fun and safe ride for the competent rider. Since owning her, we've focussed mainly on lateral work and hacking. Her strengths lie in her flatwork/dressage however, this is not to say that she can't pop over a course of jumps nicely because she definitely can! She has a careful bold jump and we have jumped clear rounds at a couple local shows. Val really enjoys hacking out with others and is not strong in any way. She is reluctant to hack out on her own. Val can be nervous especially around machinery (tractors, horse boxes, gun shots, lorries etc) so she would not suit a novice rider. She lives out in spring & summer and comes in for the winter.
Unfortunately, Val had a bad experience loading when she was a yearling so building her confidence to load is something we are still working on. Once loaded, she travels well and without a problem. She will need someone with patience and compassion to show her that trailers aren't that scary!!
Due to no fault of her own, Valentine is a now for sale. She would suit a teenager/small adult (66kg MAX) who would like to predominantly focus on their flatwork, take her out to shows/camps and generally fuss over her. She would not suit a novice rider as she can be green & gets her confidence from her rider. A caring, loving family/individual is a must as she is an incredibly special mare and has so much love to give back.
She is currently based in Surrey.
