Don needs a confident rider and would ideally suit a small adult or very competent older child. He takes his confidence from his rider and gets very nervous with an unbalanced, nervous rider on his back. He will try take the mick out of a novice but works beautifully for a confident, strong rider. He has beautiful movements and is well balanced in all 3 paces. We have done lots of showing with him and he’s always in the ribbons and has previously shown and placed well at county level. He was a bronze medal winner at royal Welsh as a youngster. We have never jumped him as my daughter has never been interested in jumping. He’s perfect to hack out and will happily go alone or in company, first or last. He has recently been fully treated for gastric ulcers and is now fully healed and back in full work. This should not Cause any issues moving forward provided it is managed correctly with ad lib forage and a low sugar diet. Priced reasonably to reflect this. He really is a sweet boy but is not right for my daughter and we now have another pony that we’re bringing on.
