Equestrian Advice & Guides Beginners Advice
Narcos was started under the saddle last summer and has been ridden for three months. Due to his age and growth he has been given time off during the winter. He is now more ready than ever to get back to work and explore his potential under the saddle in his new home!
Narcos is a clever horse and he's very willing to work. During his time off he's done a lot of work in hand and on the lunge. Occasionally for a change he's done some basic agility training.
Narcos would be a wonderful dressage prospect with good potential for a rider who has experience with young horses. Though he doesn't always show it, Narcos can be a bit shy with work under the saddle, so he would benefit the most from a rider who can give him confidence and who can guide him. He wouldn't buck or rear up!!
He's an easy-going horse in and around the stable. He's familiar with the threadmill, he's easy with grooming and clipping and the farrier.
Narcos comes out of an elite mare by Jazz, and his father is the famous young stallion Henkie from Adelinde Cornelisse, who has been in the top 8 of the WK Young Dressage Horses for 3 years straight!
Narcos was born in our stables and got the time to grow up and socialize in the field for 3 years. After 3 years of having fun and playing around, he has been taken to the university of Utrecht for 54 x-rays and to be gelded. The x-rays gave the green light for Narcos to become a healty sport horse.
Altogether he's a promising young horse to bring further through the levels for a capable rider who wants to grow with their new horse!
