HorsesAll Rounders£ 3,800 ONOMegan (Ginger)
With 3 good paces and a good jump.
Meg naturally works in an outline, takes a soft contact and is always ridden in a snaffle.
We purchased Meg as a 4 year old 5 years ago and she had been professionally broken in and we have been learning together since.
Like most well bred Dutch horses she can spook and have her own opinion but we have had help with lessons and schooling sessions regularly to help keep us on track. I have limited experience with young horses so she is very low mileage and we have taken our time along the way although we enjoy low level schooling, pole work and hacking.
We do hack alone although Meg is much more confident in company.
We have been out to a couple of fun rides and a couple of unaffiliated dressage competitions over the years although in this area her talent remains relatively untapped as it wasn’t our focus.
Meg is good to clip, bath, shoe and although we haven’t been in the lorry very much, she did go in!
Meg is only for sale as the arrival of our own baby means the little time I had before is now non existent so she is wasted.
She would suit an experienced rider or a competitive amateur and would not be suitable for a complete novice. This would be a real opportunity for someone to have lots of fun and realise her full potential but as she is part of our extended family we will only sell her to the right home and not to a dealer looking to make a quick buck!
