Thor. 14h, 5 year old, cob x gelding. Thor schools nicely on the flat. He has a lovely soft mouth and works in a nice, engaged rythem. When jumping, Thor is easy to a fence, not strong or silly. He has only been to a couple of arena hires so lacks mileage, however all the foundations are there! He has been cross country schooling, proving very brave! To hack he’s a dream! He goes alone and in company, unfazed by ANY traffic and doesn’t get silly in open spaces or large groups! We’ve owned Thor since a 2yo. I don’t think he had the best life prior to us as he can be a bit wary of people until he knows you. With that he can be a bit spooky on the ground so wouldn’t be suitable for a nervous or novice owner. He’s good to box, trim, load, travel and clip (including legs and head.) He can take 5 mins to catch but easy enough with a feed scoop! We think the best home for Thor would be a competent small adult/ older teenager who’s looking for a pony to go and have fun with! An extremely sad sale, but unfortunately he hasn’t grown big enough for us :(
