Earl is a 13hh 8 year old Welsh section b. He has competed at the Royal International and Hoys (with previous owner) as a show hunter pony. He is beautifully schooled and loves to work and because of this is a second pony for a confident child or light weight adult ( up to 9 stone.)
Since owning Earl we have introduced him to games which he loves and he is sensible with all equipment. We have also jumped him but we would prefer him to go to a home where he won’t be competitively jumped.
Earl really enjoys his hacking but on a very windy day he does like to have a look at things which aren’t there, nothing nasty just the odd spook. He is very good with all the traffic that we meet on the country lanes (vans, farm machinery, bikes etc.)
We are looking for a family /farm home where Earl can live out (he would need to be fully rugged in the Winter.)
Earl is the kindest and most affectionate pony that we have ever owned and my daughter is devastated that we are selling him but her love is mounted games and we need an experienced games pony for her to continue in Seniors.
The ideal home for Earl would be hacking/light schooling or low level pony club.
Earl will not pass a five stage vetting due to an old ligament injury however he is more than capable of continuing as a ridden pony.
