Sandylands Skoobie Boy

Skoobie is a 6 year old ,14.1,Arab cross Welsh with little experience. Although he’s definitely not a novice ride and is only young he’s always eager to learn! We have had him for just under a year and has always been a safe ride but my daughter needs something with more experience to continue her riding.

Skoobie has great potential and will go far in the right hands. My daughter has done courses of 70cm with him but he definitely has the scope to do higher.

Adores XC and jumping but he does need a confident and experienced rider (so no novices) as does get a little strong and needs to feed off confidence . But never has bucked or reared while riding . Not fazed by fillers

Hacks alone or in company but can get a bit nervous riding away from home . Alright to box,shoe, bath, catch but does need to be sedated to be clipped as gets nervous.

Like most young horses he does get quite fresh after a few days off (not dangerous) although that’s not always the situation as he can just be normal.

Would suit someone looking for a project or looking to re-school a pony to do show jumping in the future
