Colour BayMare16.2 handsThoroughbred
I am having to sale my 6 1/2 year-old bay thoroughbred mare due to no fault of her own. I do not have the time to spend time with her due to my work/family commitments.
If you are looking for a horse to go and do a little something with her then she is the one for you, she could benefit with some more basic training in a school however she can walk, trot and canter a circle and pop a pole if asked or she could be your happy hacker.
She began her career as a flat racer (not a terrible success!!). Her last race was 5th Jan 2017 and her racing name was Nutzma. She left racing because of her lack of success, she has no lumps, bumps or injuries. In fact, she is totally sound.
Since then she has been owned privately and has experienced being a hacking horse, she is happy to go out alone or in company. She has never bucked, reared, kicked or napped. She also does not have a cold back.
With her previous owner Bella has seen fences both rustic and coloured and I was told that although she has not done much jumping, she is bold and brave with great scope and serious potential in this area if you want.
She lives on a non-working farm but there is always plenty going on. She has seen livestock (cows/sheep) and loose dogs and although she has a look, she is sensible with all. Hacking has been on country roads and she is fine with traffic.
Very easy to catch -in fact comes to you in the field.
Very easy to tack and un-tack. Very easy to rug and un-rug. Stands still for you to groom her, tack/un-tack and rug/un-rug her.
Leads and loads well.
Has an excellent temperament, does not bite or nip, I have never seen her nasty.
Can hack out alone or in company and can be ridden on the buckle. Uses a rubber snaffle.
Recently shod, flu and tetanus vaccinations up to date and she is micro-chipped. Insured with E&L.
Bella is not a novice ride; she requires a more experienced rider to bring her along to fulfil her potential.
Price is negotiable.
