Quartz is a black Hanoverian mare by Quantensprung out of Dauphin Dimond by Dauphin.

Quantensprung finished his 30-day-performance test with 9.75 points for rideability in the test rider assessment, as well as with highest marks for the basic gaits and temperament. In 2014, Quantenprung won and placed in young horse classes, and in 2015 he qualified for the Bundeschampionat, finishing third at the final as the highest-placed stallion on a fantastic score of 8.9. His sire Quando-Quando won his stallion performance test in 1998. For many years he was among the top of the international dressage horses and participated for Australia at the World Equestrian Games in Aachen in 2006 and at the Olympic Games in Hong Kong in 2008.
Dauphin Dimond is studbook inspected with the BHHS gaining 7.66. She is by the stallion Dauphin who is a typey son of the legendary Donnerhall from an outstanding damline. Dauphin was praised for his kind nature and good manners. Dauphin finished his licensing test in fourth place and was invited to remain at Celle stud on breeding lease. Dauphin has been an outstanding producer of character, rideability, willingness, correctness and movement. He passes his exemplary conformation, type, and wonderful disposition onto his offspring.
