HorsesYoung Stock and Foals£ 1,800 ONOAnnie
I’ve owned Annie for nearly 3 years, she’s a wonderful person who will excel in the right home.
We don’t know her exact breeding, but were told Friesian x cob
She’s bold, and brave, kind and loving.
She leads in hand on problem, good for farrier, dentist and vet. Loves being groomed and doesn’t mind a bath.
She does tie up, but being honest I don’t really need to tie her up so forget it’s important in her education, as a result she can be a bit impatient when tied up and will paw the ground if she’s bored.
She’s seen all farm & heavy traffic, and isn’t bothered by much. She’s the kind that likes to have a look at something and check it out rather than running away.
Travels and loads in a trailer and lorry.
She fits in nicely with our little herd, but is happy turned out alone. However she does have to be well fenced in as she has a tendency to jump out her paddock. For no reason other than she can. She also likes her creature comforts and likes to come in during bad weather.
She’s currently standing just shy of 15h and has a fair bit of filling out to do.
She’s had a saddle on briefly, and wasn’t at all phased, but I haven’t put a bridle on her just yet, but I imagine she’ll take that in her stride too.
She’s a completely blank canvas and will make someone a lovely family horse one day.
She’s certainly a head turner. Words cannot describe how special this little horse is, and with the right education she will be that kind of horse that’s worth her weight in gold.
Please only enquire if you’re serious, and have the experience to deal with a young horse, as this is an incredibly hard sale. I’d like her to go to a long term home, not somewhere she’ll be passed from pillar to post.
She is only for sale as we have more horses than we’re allowed on the land we have & I can’t afford to livery her anywhere.
