Very hard decision to make putting my stunning mare up for sale.
Gilletta was brought 2 years ago fighting fit and ready to continue her education.
Not long after I had her things wasn’t going right for us.
• couldn’t get saddle to fit
• reaction to something
• had a cut
Due to this she was out of work for a while.
We got everything sorted and was ready to start riding as we slowly started hacking it seem she wasn’t right behind. We continued to work and took it slow.
I still wasn’t 100% she was correct. Vets was called going further tests.
She was then taken to liphook for on going treatment. Find out she is un level behind and they thought she was born with this issue ( HAD THE ALL CLEAR TO BRING HER BACK TO WORK SLOWLY )
Finding out from her breeder that she was sold as a 2 year old and took an accident in the field that she heeled from.
She was broken from a 3.5 year old going well again the owner wasn’t told about her accident and continued to break her as normal.
My vets also said I wouldn’t of noticed the issue as her muscle covered it up at the time.
We decide to give her time off.
We have now brought her back into work and come back just as strong.
She’s still green and weak on the left rain. Will need an experienced rider with patients to bring this mare to her full potential she will become stronger again and muscle will cover once she’s stronger
She’s a lot of horse can be a typical moody mare but isn’t nasty.
Has been out jumping with previous owners.
Very bold and brave over a fence known to jump 1m30
She will not hack on her own and has been known to rear if u decide to try. Will hack out with others and will take the lead or follow and can be ridden from the buckle. Amazing mare never silly on the roads.
Not keen on a 3.5 ton lorry but will travel fine walks up a 7.5 ton with no problem.
Been in had showing always taking home 1st and 2nd.
