Billy has been used as a hacking and hunting horse in Ireland. He doesn’t have much scope for jumping but we think this is more due to lack of knowledge than ability. He is a sweet sensible boy and loves to please.

He is easy to ride but does need schooling especially in his canter transition but this is mainly as he is more woah than go. He can be a bit nervous to mount when you are new to him, we have been working on this though and despite not being ridden since before Christmas he let us on no problem today. We used a treat while mounting him to help him work through this, he does have a good temperament.

Billy hacks alone happily and in company, he is happy to babysit. Good with tractors, buses , cars, dogs, prams and trailers. Good to load , clip, stable, groom and catch. Generally a nice person to have around and a sort hard to find in his size ! With some one on one and time he will be hard to beat!...Read full description
