I've owned Connie for five wonderful years, and she's been brilliant throughout. She needs a home that can offer her one to one attention.
16.2hh, 12 yrs, registered sports horse.
Connie's done a bit of everything & always been ridden in a snaffle. Never mareish, she's essentially a large lap dog, very soppy & loves a cuddle. Needs no hard feed, a very good doer.
The sort you can leave for a week and jump straight back on.
Hacks alone or in company, prefers to be in front but will go behind if she has to, safe and sane in open spaces.
Perfect manners on the ground, you can leave her stable door open & she won't move. Falls asleep when clipping & will stand to be groomed all day. Never bitten etc. Has been led around by my young nieces, not bothered by dogs.
Been turned out with mares and geldings.
Travels very quietly (if in a trailer, without the partition), she is hesitant to load, but with patience will walk up nicely.
Never been sick or sorry.
She will come with a FULL wardrobe, absolutely everything I have for her.
Two saddles, one dressage and one GP, bridle, boots, more rugs than you'll ever need.
She has recently started to become grumpy under saddle, she is currently at a riding School which isn't suiting her at all. She has started to stop & threaten to rear when ridden by someone too busy with their hands or in the saddle/kicking her too much. She needs a calm and quiet rider and she will start to enjoy her work again. She has had her teeth, back and saddle checked and been seen by the vet - this behaviour is purely because she isn't enjoying her work and is no way in pain.
Should she go on to be sold I would like first refusal to have her back, this mare is absolutely my world, I just can't juggle everything & something has to give. I will not sell her to just anyone....Read full description
