16'2 Happy Hacker

looking for a hacking ONLY home for my gorgeous boy. He’s 14 this year, full up 16’2. Up to date with everything. Great to shoe, box, clip and vet. Hacks alone or in company, first or last. He is a forward going ride.

Unfortunately he was diagnosed with Kissing spine Jan 2020 which he had operated on in May 2020, his back has been great since and he’s back hacking 4/5 times a week. When they fixed his back it brought out an SI issue, this has been medicated and no longer sore. There’s a chance it will need medicating again in the future. Due to this issue and my vets advice he needs just to be hacked out. He loves hacking which is a bonus for him. He would be able to do the odd fun ride to, but absolutely NO jumping. He is very happy and willing to work and has lots of life and miles in him. He is an ex racer, born in France and his breading is Selle Francis, he raced in Ireland and the uk. He can be looky at things and will have a few spooks but has never done anything dangerous. I brought him in sept 2019 to do low level jumping but it’s not fair to ask this of him now. He lives out, well rugged and is happy as Larry. He is not suitable for a nervous or novice ridder as does take his confidence from his rider. I’m happy to discuss any questions anyone may have.
