Liver ChestnutMare16.1 hands
Sharer wanted for 16.1hh 9 year old showjumping chestnut mare. Looking for someone to ride / care for Cassie 2-4 days a week, can include one weekend day possibly. She hasn’t been ridden in 5 months due to me being pregnant and Cassie having an injury but vets have said she will benefit from being ridden, so want someone to do light work to start off with. We have a 60m / 20m outdoor arena, amazing hacking under the downs and access on to the South Downs.
When Cassie was ridden she was used for:
Showjumping- up to 1m15.
Light Schooling- light due to Cassie not being fond of schooling.
Hacking- she hasn’t done much before I bought her, so wasn’t keen on hacking, but this got better when I took her out in company. Definitely prefers going out in company but will go out alone but with persuasion. I had to go out in company and then go out on my own and do the same route and she would be great, but if you change the route, she’s not happy and will test you.
She would do cross country I think but has never done it in the past but she is very bold and brave.
She is a lovely horse in the stable and will happily stand to be groomed, she does pull a few funny faces though but isn’t being nasty.
She is NOT A NOVICE RIDE as she is a typical chestnut mare and she has been out of work so not sure how she will be. When she was in work, she loves a bronk, so sharer must be used to naughty horses.
She was bred to be a show jumper, so the right sharer has a chance to compete, once she’s fit again. Please message me if your interested but NO NOVICES please.
If your wanting to share Cassie, a sharing contract will need to be signed & agreed. ...Read full description
